Position Overview
What You’ll Do
- Define: Work closely with stakeholders to identify Process Improvement opportunities and define project goals and objectives.
- Measure: Develop metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess current process performance and establish baseline data.
- Analyze: Utilize statistical tools and techniques to analyze process data, identify root causes of issues, and prioritize improvement opportunities.
- Improve: Lead cross-functional teams to implement solutions and Process Improvements that address identified issues and drive performance enhancements.
- Control: Develop and implement control plans to sustain Process Improvements and ensure long-term success.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on the DMAIC methodology and best practices in Process Improvement.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of Process Improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and report on the progress of DMAIC projects, including tracking key metrics and milestones.
- Drive Key Performance Indicators related to Project Cycle Time Management, Cost Savings & Revenue Generation, Process Efficiency Gains, Customer Satisfaction, Quality, Compliance and Risk Reduction, Stakeholder Engagement, Employee Participation and Training, Return on Investment (ROI), and Project Success Rate.
- Completes other duties and special projects as assigned.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is required; applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma highly desirable.
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience leading DMAIC projects and driving Process Improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in using Process Improvement tools and software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
