Process Engineer, Amazon

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline) or foreign equivalent or a related field, or 3+ years engineering experience.
• Experience in building and maintaining complex processes.
• Hands on experience mapping workflows, such as creating and using BPMN process diagrams and/or value stream maps.
• Experience with process design based on Lean Principles.

We are looking for an exceptional Process Engineer with Lean/Six Sigma skills to help improve and maintain complex product development processes for Amazon Private Brands. This exciting role essential to our quest to build best-in-class process designs, accelerate implementation of technology advancements, and to strengthen the process acumen and process knowledge for business operations leaders across Private Brands. Product development in Private Brands is a complex and global process involving dozens of teams globally. You will get collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders including our vendor sourcing, product design, vendor sourcing, quality and compliance testing, logistics, and software development teams.

• Operate as a Subject Matter Expert on Amazon’s internal workflow engine to develop efficient workflows.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
