Senior Manager, Bulk Supply Chain

• 7+ years of team management experience
• 5+ years of Supply Chain experience

Amazon’s Global Supply Chain (GSC) team is looking for a leader to join our team as a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Innovation. The position is designed to ideate, implement, and execute cutting edge Supply Chain solutions that would create seamless flow of packages across Amazon Supply Chain. This is a high impact role with an opportunity to influence one of the most high visibility and high impact areas.
This role will also be responsible for identifying and managing solutions and products for inbound Supply Chain network. This leader will lead a team which is expected to drive high-impact and high-visibility solutions by partnering with multiple stakeholder teams to shape network strategy. In addition, this leader will own the incubation and execution of innovative Supply Chain management concepts. The goal is to improve and enhance the Amazon fulfillment network to ultimately drive the best customer experience in a reliable and cost-efficient manner.
Key job responsibilities

• Own and drive the customer working backwards strategy, tenets, long-term goals, and execution.
• Build new mechanisms to enable coordination and scale for initiatives within Supply Chain Innovation Org.
• Ensure implementation is aligned with program goals and requirements; make necessary adjustments.
• Act as customer proxy to test and measure against success criteria.
• Partner with teams across SCOT, ATS, NACF Ops, and GSC to set and deliver ambitious goals.
• Define metrics to be tracked and own audit of program performance.
• Identify process gaps through deep dive of metrics and make operational improvements (e.g., automation, self-service, etc.).
• Write clear SOPs and functional requirements.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $233,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
