Process Design Clerk - Temporary

Works with Process Design Group to develop, maintain and improve accuracy of bill of materials and routing on Jobs.

• Setup and maintain item codes (raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished goods) and BOM.
• Receives jobs and reviews them for accuracy.
• Updates any incorrect jobs on the Job/Item level.
• Create items codes in the respective IT system.
• Create BOMs and routings, work with PDG to ensure BOMs are operationally correct and maintained.
• Follow-up and resolve variations in a timely manner.
• Cleanse databases such as duplicates, inconsistencies, performance, etc. on a routine basis
• Work closely with PDG to input new bills of material as well as modified existing bills to support the engineering change process.
• Develop and maintain basic product knowledge.
• Keep informed of market, new products or services, basic technical information, product reliability and other general information of interest to the customer.
• Offer and obtain assistance from peers or supervisor when needed. 
• Maintain flexibility in performing other related task or functions as required or assigned.

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written.
• Ability to understand/interpret prints/specs.
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
• Ability to type 40 - 65 WPM.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Minimum of one-year experience in a clerical position.

• Visual acuity to process paperwork.
• Long periods of sitting at a desk
