Job Description
Beach House Group, is looking for a passionate, organized and detail-oriented Human Resources & IT Coordinator to join their fun, hard-working, results-driven, creative and collaborative HR team! Reporting into the VP of HR, the HR & IT Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day needs for HR, recruiting, payroll and office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as initial point of contact for basic HR, Payroll, and IT inquiries.
- Ensure punctual submission of hourly timesheets; verify accuracy and enter hours into payroll system by cutoff.
- Assist HR projects and initiatives, such as open enrollment, 401K enrollment, promotion processes, performance management, policy implementation, and process improvements.
- Support recruiting projects and initiatives, such as preparation and posting open roles to internal and external job boards, work with recruiters on interview scheduling and providing follow-up correspondence to candidates.
- Serve as point-of-contact for candidates/recruiters and interview teams regarding interview schedules, changes, etc.
- Process employee changes in payroll and HRIS systems, including salary, 401K, reporting, etc.
- Support new hire on-boarding process including coordinating new hire start dates and scheduling new hire orientations.
- Assist VP of Human Resources with DEI projects such as trainings, workshops, education and events.
- Review pre-employee paperwork for accuracy and completeness; manage new hire paperwork (I-9, data forms, etc.) and ensure accurate filing in digital filing system.
- Assist IT with: onboarding/offboarding, team equipment, email requests, and troubleshooting the day-to-day employee issues.
- Assist the Executive Assistant to CEO on maintaining all corporate social media platforms
- Assist VP of Human Resources on planning, coordinator, and executing corporate events.
- Audit all employee files for up to date and accurate documents
- Assist the Executive Assistant to the CEO on maintaining the office to a high standard to represent our brands
- Ensure high levels of communication with the team and effectively address employee queries regarding office issues.
- Order all supplies/office equipment and ensure they are within budget.
- Maintain office receipts in SharePoint
- Manage incoming/outgoing mail and shipments daily.
- Maintain Verizon business phone plan; including ordering phones for any new hire requests and deactivating lines & collecting phones for any terminated employees
- Manage company storage units (BHG & Brands); act as main point of contact for additional keys, help obtaining items or providing access to new hires for the respective brand.
- Provide additional administrative support as needed.
- Support additional HR, payroll and recruiting related tasks as necessary.
EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources
- 2+ years supporting full cycle recruiting process
- Office Coordinator experience is a plus
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with solid grammar.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage data ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships and work with all levels across an organization.
- Able to handle confidential matters and sensitive data.
- Problem solving skills with a can-do attitude.
- A sense of urgency paired with a strong ability to prioritize multiple timelines and demands.
Hourly Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (~$52K - $62K Annual)
