PRN RN Case Manager, Occupational Health

Marathon Health is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) Case Manager to support our customer from its on-site employer-sponsored health and wellness centers in Edina and/or Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities
The PRN RN Case Manager will primarily focus on nurse case management activities, but will also provide direct and indirect care to patients with an emphasis on employee health.
The Occupational Health Nurse Case Manager will utilize established protocols and current standards of care to meet the wide variety of health care needs of the our client's population. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform work injury case management under teh supervision of the clinic's medical provider
- Perform absence management for non-work related conditions (STD, LTD, FMLA, etc.)
- Collect review, and address immunization status of new hires
- Coordinate ordering of lab tests and immunizations as needed
- Follow-up on abnormal testing, including appropriate state filing when indicated
- Assist with triage and monitoring of employees who have a contagious illness or work injury
- Assist with mask fit testing and tracking
- Assist with maintaining employee health documents in appropriate systems
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum two years of case management experience
- Occupational health certification strongly preferred
- Phlebotomy/venipuncture and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required
- Attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively with patients and strong computer skills required
