Physio in Atlanta & Northeast metro, Georgia is currently seeking a part time WorkStrategies Specialist for an industrial setting. This position is for a certified Athletic Trainer, exercise physiologist, or individual of similar background. We have locations in the Chamblee and Duluth areas that have flexible needs and can be covered by a single part time provider or a few prn providers.
Work Schedule: 4 hours a week for Air Gas in Duluth, GA and 3 hrs in the evening 5-9 pm every other week at GE in Chamblee, GA area.
Compensation: commensurate with experience, starting at $25/hr

Responsibilities
- Provide OnSite coverage for industrial customer under the direction of Account/Program Manager
- Early Symptom Intervention with providing first aid services
- Design and implement injury prevention strategies for the industrial setting, such as individual and group conditioning, functional assessments and behavioral modification
- Ergonomic risk assessment and implementation of ergonomic solutions
- Office ergonomics
- Health and wellness consultation
Qualifications
- BS Degree required in Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Associate Degree for Physical Therapy Assistants
- National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of Certification (if applicable)
- GA State license (if ATC)
- Industrial setting experience a plus
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift patients using biomedical techniques frequently throughout the course of a work day/shift; must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds of weight alone.
• Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day/shift.
• Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written direction.
• Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
• Ability to push wheeled equipment throughout the facility and in the community.
• Fine motor skills adequate for scheduling and preparing athletes, equipment, and supplies for treatment.
• Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours in duration in accordance with state labor laws.
