The Role- What youll do as a Private Client Personal Lines Account Manager:
- Complete review of all policies for assigned clients at renewal, including recommendations
- Identify cross-selling opportunities during reviews
- Complete and document all policy changes in assigned book of business
- Remarket accounts when appropriate
- Read and interpret insurance policies to answer coverage questions
- Work in carrier websites for quoting, processing endorsements, and making client payments
- Prepare applications and issue policies on certain carrier websites
- High-level customer service and complete entry in Agency Management system (EPIC) following agency workflows such as:
- Complete entry of policy changes requests
- Document communication (verbally or electronically) with clients, producers, or carriers via activity
- Add new policy lines for rewrites
- Cancellations
- Send evidence of insurance for new clients, including auto ID cards, certificates, and proof of property
- Send home inspections to clients and review with client as necessary keep track of all carrier requirements through completion and communicate to carriers
- Prepare proposals for prospective clients read policy forms for accurate coverage comparisons
- Handle broker of record process include the broker of record summary
- Maintains relationship with Personal Lines carrier underwriters
Requirements and Qualifications:
- P&C Producer License
- 5+ years of Personal Lines insurance - high net worth insurance experience preferred
- Able to use carrier websites to quote and process policy changes
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with both clients and agency personnel; ability to listen, clarify and respond well to questions
- Experience with agency management system such as EPIC is preferred
