Position Title: Financial Analyst IV
Location: Remote
Expected Duration: 06+ months.
Payrate: 55$/hr.

Position Description
Summary: The main functions of a Financial Analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.
Job Responsibilities: Direct the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future earnings or expenses, that summarize and forecast the organizations financial position. Prepare special reports required by regulatory authorities. Direct the organizations budgets to meet its financial goals. Oversee the investment of funds, manage associated risks, supervise cash management activities. Execute capital-raising strategies to support a firms expansion. Oversee the firms issuance of credit, establishing credit-rating criteria, determining credit ceilings, and monitoring the collections of past-due accounts. Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking. Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time. Strong ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses. Strong knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred. 8-10 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project/Assignment
* Collect, compile, prepare, and analyze data from multiple systems, to process revenue entries, journal entries, and other financial transactions
* Ensure that your group of projects are reconciled accurately and completely
* Ensure the compliance in meeting Sarbanes-Oxley controls and requirements
* Perform financial and analysis and research
* Adapt to constantly changing requirements and business needs; quickly implementing solutions when necessary
* Perform month end close processes and journal entries in accordance with the Corporate close calendar
* Ensure significant variances from monthly trend are investigated and explained.
* Ensure continual review and improvement of processes to strengthen controls, improve productivity and reduce cost.
* Support RCM process improvement initiatives
* Ensure monthly balance sheet reconciliations are prepared
* Perform data entry assignments in support of contract set up in PeopleSoft financial system
* Complete ad hoc projects and tasks as required
