Seeking an Authorization Specialist to join our team. This position will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Hanford, CA team. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and have excellent customer service skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and take messages in a polite and professional manner
- Schedule appointments for patients
- Answer inquiries from patients regarding their authorization/procedure/radiology scheduling.
- Update patient charts with authorization and appointment information.
- Request authorization from insurance companies for procedure(s)/radiology exams.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
