As a Prior Authorization Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that medical procedures and treatments are approved by insurance companies. Your expertise in insurance verification and knowledge of medical terminology will be essential in navigating the Prior Authorization process.

```Duties:```
- Review and verify insurance coverage for patients
- Obtain necessary medical records and documentation for Prior Authorization requests
- Complete and submit Prior Authorization forms to insurance companies
- Follow up on pending authorizations and provide updates to patients and healthcare providers
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all Prior Authorization activities

```Qualifications:```
- Previous experience working in an office setting, preferably in a dental or medical office
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately review and analyze medical records
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $20.45 - $28.00 per hour
