What we’re looking for

We are looking for a Development/Security/Operations (DevSecOps) technical lead who thrives in the creation and execution of a simple, heavily automated, and consistent development-to-deployment environment for large scale, complex software products. The successful candidate will join us in building a modern, integrated software development environment used to move our products rapidly into real world operational fielded systems sorely needed by our nation. The DevSecOps lead will direct a small team, working across the engineering disciplines of Software, CM, Security, IT, and Integration & Test to shorten deployment time frames and improve the quality, consistency, and ease of installation/integration of our software products.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Ability to both work independently with minimal direction and to lead a small team.
• Strong and current experience with some/all the following tools: Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), ClearCase, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Puppet
• 3+ years scripting/high level language programming

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Active CompTIA Security+ Certification
• Software development background
• Experience applying DevSecOps concepts to embedded software products
• Hands-on knowledge of system administration and Linux/UNIX operating system core concepts.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g.,TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers, etc).

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $103509 - $175993
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
