Role and Responsibilities:Under Payroll Supervisor, performs complex and highly responsible clerical work involved in and relating to the review, verification and preparation of payroll.
- Reviews and checks payroll or personnel records, statements, documents, certificates, or time and attendance records.
- Prepares regular, supplemental and overtime payrolls, adds or deletes employees as required.
- Computes overtime, emergency rates and leaves of absence requiring application of relevant rules and regulations concerning salary increments, bonuses, and authorized deductions.
- Maintains records and files where selection and classifications of data does not require difficult decisions where procedures are routinized.
- Completes employee verifications that require salary/ wage information.
- Computes withholding taxes.
- Prepares reports and keep record of employee's timesheets.
- Maintains and ensures the confidentiality of essential records
- and files.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Two (2) years of experience in work involving payroll processing.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of office methods, practices, routines and equipment.
Ability to: interpret and apply relevant rules and regulations concerning salary increments, bonuses, and authorized deductions; make accurate arithmetic calculations quickly and accurately and maintain confidential records and files.

Pay: $58,536.82 - $94,533.64 per year
