Summary
The Principal Human Resources Business Partner will provide strategic HR leadership and support to the Finance organization, a global organization of 950+ employees, which is going through transformation. As a member of the Finance leadership team, this HR leader will focus on driving and executing the talent strategy and talent programs, while providing HR thought leadership, consultation, and support to the CFO and the Finance organization.
Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning and employee engagement.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to one HRBP direct report, ensuring that HR programs, priorities and activities are aligned to the Finance organization's strategy.
  • Support the finance transformation and CHS1 work by leading HR related activities such as org design, talent selection, change management and communication. Collaborate with finance leadership, the transformation management office, organizational change management, and communications partners to ensure that all transformation-related people activities are well executed.
  • In support of CHS's people priority initiative, focus on building a culture of strong employee engagement; foster a workplace culture of behaviors aligned to the CHS Leadership Expectations; advocate and facilitate appropriate employee recognition and rewards; promote employee well-being initiatives.
  • Serve as a thought partner to leadership regarding talent development. Plan and facilitate ongoing talent discussions with the finance leadership team to support and encourage talent development and movement within the organization.
  • Provide strategic HR leadership for early talent programs, such as the Finance talent rotational programs. Provide thought leadership to continue to evolve these programs to meet the talent needs of the function.
  • Lead and support annual people processes including talent review, compensation planning, employee engagement survey action planning, and the annual performance review process.
  • Partner closely with the HR COEs to offer input and perspective into the design of core HR processes aligned to evolving business needs and contribute to an effective HR service delivery model.
  • Leverage people data and analytics to gain insights and develop talent solutions to address organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with the Employee Relations Business Partner to ensure workplace concerns and performance management issues are appropriately addressed.
  • Lead and/or participate in project work as opportunities arise, aligned with strategic HR initiatives and/or business needs.

Minimum Qualifications (required)
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 10+ years progressive human resources experience to include:
    • 7+ years as a human resources Business Partner and/or human resources manager
    • Direct experience supporting various people & talent processes including: employee engagement, inclusion and diversity, talent acquisition, performance management to include goal setting and annual performance reviews, talent management, employee relations, learning and development, and compensation planning.
    • Prior experience supporting C-level leaders

Additional Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably in Human Resources or Business; MBA or Master's in Human Resources preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Ability to effectively influence others to drive sound decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively integrate the talent and business strategy for strong results.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization - grounded in mutual trust and respect.
  • Highly organized with an ability to effectively manage multiple, competing priorities as part of a fast-paced and evolving work culture.
  • Ability to effectively manage and balance both the day-to-day required, transactional efforts and activities as well as strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze and understand a situation and respond timely to those involved.
  • Ability to analyze data and extract insights from the data to inform business decisions.
  • Knowledge and practical application of various employment laws
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelBRID
