Daikin is looking for an Associate HR Business Partner to join our team! The AHRBP willserve as a consultant and advisor to people leaders in the organization on HR related matters. This position focuses on building leader capability throughout the organization through coaching, advising, and supporting leaders in all facets of HR and serves as a trusted advisor.
A Day in the Life:
  • Provides coaching and guidance to people leaders on HR matters including - annual processes, performance management, team effectiveness, employee relations, compensation/incentive changes or issues, creating/hiring/eliminating positions, diversity and inclusion, and engagement.
  • Equips leaders with the tools, processes and skills to effectively lead and navigate HR issues.
  • Consults with and builds leadership capabilities of leaders in the areas of performance coaching, employee engagement, and team leadership.
  • Conducts investigations and ensures compliance with employment law and policies.
  • Delivers training for leaders on a variety of HR related topics.
  • Leads or participates in projects and/or initiatives across the HR Function or in support of a business initiative.
  • Assists with merger and acquisition integration activities including communications, onboarding, and compliance.
  • Recognizes trends or issues impacting leaders and works with HR teams to create solutions.
  • Facilities and supports change management processes and initiatives.
  • Analyzes data and metrics and uses in support of making continuous improvement.
  • Works closely with HR advisors and Centers of Expertise (COE) to share feedback and data on programs to help shape strategies and solutions for the organization and supports the implementation of new solutions from COEs. Works with HR Advisors to align coaching of leaders with business priorities.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on assigned processes.

What you will Bring:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Master's Degree or SHRM or related certification preferred
  • 5 years of progressive HR experience
