Job Summary:

The primary function of the Price Management Specialist is pricing, creating and/or revising documentation, data entry, maintaining various forms, filing, and updating reports. Work closely with Sales, Accounting, Customer Service, and various of the Marketing Department (especially Channel Marketing Team and Product Managers).

 

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

 

 Essential Job Duties:

  • Create, organize, review, and maintain various forms, files, and reports for the Marketing department, as well as occasional items for various other departments. 
  • Create items such as presentation slides, promotional flyers, price lists, etc. with PowerPoint and/or Excel for monthly mailings, presentations, or email announcements.
  • Create & distribute various month-end reports.
  • Assist with monthly updates to the internal Marketing website & upload applicable monthly revisions to the external website.
  • Upload, maintain, program, & track contract pricing and promotions in the system
  • Validate and confirm accurate pricing information that may be on Excel, PowerPoint, Word, or any other documentation.
  • Assist Customer Services with pricing and/or item inquiries.

  • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should know about Microsoft Outlook Contact Management systems; Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint knowledge is a must (intermediate/advanced), and all other software programs related to MS Office Suite.
  • Prior data entry experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP or other corporate systems is preferred.
  • Understanding or experience with system testing, use cases, or system documentation is preferred.
  • Technology Skills: Intermediate/advanced level of knowledge of Microsoft Office including the ability to generate and manipulate spreadsheets.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and produce manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from others inside and outside the company.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Supervisory Responsibility:

        This position has no supervisory responsibility.

 

 Work Environment:

This position will sometimes work in an open office setting that is quiet, and fast-paced and fosters continuous learning while operating under high demand/volume. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

 

 Travel:

No travel is required.

 

 Education and/or Experience Desired:

  • High School/GED required and/or 2+ years Minimum of 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in accounting /finance or operations field.  
  • Must have intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
