Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Prep Cook to join our team. As a Prep Cook, you will assist in the preparation of meals and ensure that all food is prepared according to established recipes and food safety guidelines. Your role will be crucial in helping our kitchen operate smoothly and efficiently.

Duties:
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, peeling, and cutting ingredients
- Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient meal service
- Assist with catering events as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a dietary department or kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic knife skills for ingredient preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
