SalaryThe Winooski School District is seeking Intensive Needs Instructional Assistants to work with students with disabilities to provide academic, adaptive and behavior support throughout the school day. There are multiple positions in our PreK and Kindergarten classrooms. Responsibilities include providing support to students regarding emotional regulation, academics, adaptive, functional and social skills. Other responsibilities include assisting with data collection, progress monitoring, bus duties, as well as supporting students as they participate in the mainstream classroom.
The Winooski School District is a PreK through 12 system that is housed in one educational center. Employee must have the physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job
Other additional duties may include but are not limited to recess, lunch and bus support.
There are physical requirements for these positions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.28 - $26.79 per hour
