Job Description
Job Summary: The Clinical Administrative Assistant supports the agency’s delivery and oversight of medical services by providing administrative assistance to the clinical and service coordination teams.
Essential Functions:
Receive and process incoming medical reports and lab results
Manage and/or support communication with medical offices, as assigned
Oversee scheduling for our psychiatric provider
Serve as primary point of contact for pharmacies, and forward inquiries requiring
nursing-level assistance to the nursing team
Support maintenance of accurate and complete medical (diagnoses,
prescriptions) information within the electronic health care record
Process critical incident reports
Receive and process contracted provider invoices
Maintain credential records for contracted clinical providers
Provide support to service coordinators reconciling and/or disposing of medications
Provide support to service coordinators to maintain accurate and timely medication administration records
Help to maintain the supply and organization of work tools and spaces
Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication skills, written and oral
Keen attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Professional demeanor
Ability to transcribe medical terminology with minimal errors
Fluency with standard office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
Ability to complete routine tasks with minimal supervision
Highschool diploma or GED
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Medical training or medical office experience desirable
Experience with electronic health record systems; Qualifacts Carelogic preferred
Associates or Bachelor's degree

Physical Demands
Employee is frequently required to walk, talk and/or hear. Employee may be required to sit for long periods of time. Employee will use the computer extensively. Employee is occasionally required to reach, push, pull and lift up to 25 pounds. Employee must be able to demonstrate correct use of medical equipment and medication administration techniques.
Environmental Exposure
Work will typically be performed in an office setting. Noise level will generally be moderate (office, printers, chatter).
