Learning Opportunity:
The PR/CommunicationsIntern will have the opportunity to learn from and support the VP of Communications for David C Cook and Integrity Music. The Intern will have the opportunity to practice corporate and public relations writing, interact with the media, help build a media contact list, and plan and coordinate media events.
Internship Description:
Help plan media events
Willingness to help with tasks, planning, outreach
Contact media regarding news or upcoming event
Ability to follow through with phone calls and emails
Writing -Improved writing
Build out media lists in media database -Increased number of targeted media contacts
Perform other job-related duties as assigned -Displays a cheerful disposition in working on projects outside the typical workflow of this position. Effectively helps others in special projects.
QualificationsInternship Requirements:Formal Education: Enrolled in a degree program related to communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or other related field.

Equipment Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Outlook
