The Practice Manager reports to the Regional Director Of Business Operations. Accountable for the quality and timeliness of technical procedures, compliance, safety and and P&L management. Accountable for achieving objectives as determined by management. We are looking for an experienced & personable leader with a positive attitude. The Practice Manager needs to be able to foster positive work environment in order to maintain provider and staff morale.
Responsibilities
The Practice Manager will oversee two offices located on Swann Ave. and Kennedy Blvd.
As assigned but not limited to the following:
- Oversee, assign responsibilities and coordinate the efforts of all staff
- Qualified servant leadership skills
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive business growth
- Interview, hire, develop and train a strong team to ensure proper support for the service providers.
- Responsible for coordinating with the HR Departments, the termination, corrective action for performance issues & reviews, and preparing and maintaining thorough documentation.
- Responsible for operations within the clinic, upkeep and maintenance of the facility.
- Responsible for meeting/exceeding budget goals.
- Oversee Pathology Log, Cancer Register, PQRS and meaningful use programs for all providers to insure all are up to date and meeting criteria for qualification where needed.
- Manage a retail and cosmetic service environment
- Drive revenue and analyze profit and loss
- Present monthly business results to Management
- Drive process improvement as well as continual staff training and education
- Monitor and review providers' schedules to strategize maximum capacity and identify areas we may need to adjust to accommodate patient flow.
- Promote a positive, fair and open environment within the department and the Practice.
- Control costs of supplies, inventory, equipment, service, repairs, and salary, benefits and wages.
- Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality and timeliness of services.
- Perform patient service functions as necessary including problem resolution and act as a resource for internal and external patients.
- Address patient concerns.
- Follow-up on patient complaints and inquiries, with research to assure satisfactory completion.
- Compliance with HIPAA & OSHA Standard Precautions.
- Participate as needed in community outreach and other practice event
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- At least 2 years of management experience is required. Strong leadership skills are a must.
- Must have the ability to set and manage multiple priorities.
- Maintaining performance level while under pressure or when experiencing changes or challenges in the work place.
- Knowledge of practice management systems, EMA preferred.
