Nestled near the theme parks in sunny Central Florida, this two-physician Ophthalmology/Oculofacial Plastic Surgery practice seeks a creative, analytic individual for the Practice Manager position to help streamline our practice operations and help us grow. We are strong believers in embracing new technologies and trends and will be adding an in-office surgical suite next year.

Wage: $80,000

Job Summary and Qualifications

• Running the day-to-day operations including reconciliation of end-of-day
• Tracking budget and financial performance of the business
• Manage a team of 15 employees and coordinate the subject matter training required to excel in their respective roles
• Provide oversight for accounts receivable, billing and coding claims
• Compile and discuss monthly productivity reports to the physicians and practice owners
• Generate and implement ideas for revenue growth and general practice improvements
• Improve office efficiency

Necessary Skills

• Knowledge of medical front and back-end operations/flow/efficiency
• High-level competency with EHR systems, spreadsheets and other data applications
• Experience with inventory applications
• Demonstrate a high degree of organization
• Experience with payroll processing
• Ability to self-start and work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Driven and team-focused attitude
• Keeping an upbeat attitude
• Ability to identify areas to drive efficiency and productivity
• Ability to multi-task

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Education: Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration (preferred)

Experience: Three years management experience, ophthalmology or plastic surgery experience preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
