We are seeking a full-time Positioning Software Engineer Intern in our Boulder, CO location. In this role, you will be responsible for learning and training to develop positioning algorithims for Garmin's navigation products in a team-oriented environment.

We are seeking a full-time Positioning Software Engineer Intern in our Boulder, CO location. In this role, you will be responsible for learning and training to develop positioning algorithims for Garmin's navigation products in a team-oriented environment.
Essential Functions
- Learn to develop positioning algorithims in C, C++, assembly language, or other selected languages for Garmin navigation products in accordance with Garmin's software development
- Learn to analyze positioning algorithim performance using test data, python, and software analysis tools
- Learn to perform software releases and software quality assurance activities
- Learn to perform maintenance activities for products already in production in addition to new product software design
Basic Qualifications
- Completed coursework in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Geomatics Engineering or other relevant degree
- Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)
- Must possess relevant experience and/or training in languages such as C, C++, C# or Java
- Must possess relevant experience and/or training in data structures or object oriented design methodology
Desired Qualifications
- Outstanding academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5)
- Working towards a MSc of Phd in field related to positioning algorithims
- Relevant experience and/or training in positioning algorithims such as least squares or Kalman filtering
- Relevant experience and/or training in GNSS or inertial sensor technologies
