We are hiring a Portfolio Manager to join our Select Mid Cap and Small Cap Value team of investment professionals and further strengthen our investment management and portfolio construction capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day investment research and analysis and be a critical contributor to the investment team, with responsibilities related to both investment management, operations, and client portfolio functions. You will work closely with central research, Portfolio Managers, traders, and sales staff to effectively manage our concentrated equity portfolios and internal and external client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily research and analysis of existing and prospective individual stock positions
- Contribute to investment strategy development, communication and implementation
- Identify and source investment opportunities and value ideas
- Work closely with the central research team and traders to evaluate investment merit
- Perform portfolio construction, attribution, performance analysis and position monitoring
- Communicate with internal and external clients on portfolio strategy, portfolio performance and market developments
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in investments
- BA/BS degree preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or other investment-related discipline
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA and/or CFA designation
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work and contribute effectively both as a team player and individually.
- Strong computer skills and aptitude for technology
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness with the ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills

Base Pay Salary
New York Residents Only: The estimated base salary for this role is $180,000 - $220,000 / year. Base salaries are determined in part based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
