Pay scale: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour.
General Purpose:
Ensures safety and security of members and employees of facility.
Essential Duties:
- Observes persons entering, exiting, or loitering in or around facilities and responds to security related complaints from residents, members, guests, and employees.
- Conducts routine walk-arounds of the property at scheduled and random times.
- Ensures that doors are locked and property is secure.
- Responds to accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities. Documents details and advises management.
- Maintains logs and reports of all related activities.
- Provides security coverage for special events programs.
- Enforces all rules and regulations set forth by facility.
- Identifies and corrects any safety hazards.
- Performs light maintenance duties including but not limited to: changing locks and light bulbs.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Computer skills.
- Valid Florida Driver's License.
- CPR and First Aid Training a plus.
Other qualifications:
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job.
