Position Description
As a member of the Resort Team, the Front Gate Host reports to and assists the Resort Manager in achieving the properties goals. The primary focus of this position is to create a pleasant and engaging experience for our RV resort customers by providing an overall welcoming environment including a friendly greeting upon arrival and concierge services throughout their stay. We are looking for someone who takes pride in a strong attention to detail. You will serve as the face of the resort as you interact with current and prospective guests who come to the office with questions and concerns.
Responsibilities
- Perform lock and unlock services of the resort buildings and gates.
- Monitor gate and observe for unauthorized entry.
- Assist the Front Desk by meeting and greeting resort guests, welcoming them and escorting them to their site with golf cart.
- Inspect vacant sites just prior to arrival of guests and ensure site is perfectly clean and in working order.
- Assist guests with concierge type service: directions, recommendations for restaurants and services, etc.
- Read meters (electric, water, long term meters).
- Review occupied space report and verify check-outs from RMS departures list. Report discrepancies to management
- Maintain cleanliness, proper setup and organization of the property including pool area, dog parks and common area grounds.
- Maintain golf cart in proper working order
- Observe and report all guest issues or illegal activity.
- Perform minor maintenance onsite and repairs to equipment as needed.
- Run errands as directed by management using company vehicle.
- Assist the Events coordinator with maintaining “event ready” condition and proper operation of club house and common areas.
- Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning of villas & club rooms as needed
- Assist Resort with tracking and maintaining property inventories.
- Maintain cleanliness of Guard House at all times.
- All other duties that may be asked of you by your supervisor or management.
- Qualifications
- High School Diploma Required
- Must be available on weekends and holidays
- Must possess a valid Driver’s license and be insurable
- Minimum of 2 years’ customer service, administrative or hospitality experience
- Good problem-solving skills
- Professional appearance
- RV resort office or hotel front desk experience, a plus
- Bi-lingual, a plus
