***40 hours per week***

Duties (Primary PSA Duties):
Knowledge of traffic laws, city ordinances and safety procedure s related to traffic control and parking. Assists at crime scene and accident investigations; directs traffic. Knowledge of the method and process of operating radio-transmitting equipment.
Must be able to deal effectively with the public and be able to type and maintain a variety of clerical records.

Requirements: All applicants must test and provide proof of the following at the time of submitting employment application:

 High School diploma or G.E.D.
 Honorable Discharge if any service in Armed Forces
 Original Driver’s License
 Must take and pass Broward College CJBAT Test
 CJSTC 58 Background Investigation Wavier Form signed AND notarized
 Must pass a polygraph exam
 Must successfully pass a background screening
 Must be at least 18 years of age
 Must have a driving record satisfactory to the City’s standards
