Responsibilities:
This dynamic role requires the knowledge of fire protection Engineering principles and their application to fire risk analysis in industrial facilities, systems and processes; knowledge of NFPA Codes and standards; ability to perform quantitative fire hazard analysis and risk assessments; knowledge of DOE Orders and DOE-mandated codes and standards related to fire protection; knowledge of current computer-based analytical methods related to fire hazard analyses; and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively through the oral and written word including formal presentation skills.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Fire Protection Engineering from an Accredited Fire Protection Degreed Program with a sound knowledge of engineering fundamentals
Full awareness and working knowledge of Building and Fire Safety Codes and NFPA Codes and Standards.
AutoCAD and REVIT proficient
Good communication skills essential for team-based working
Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment
Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges
