THE JOB:

As a Planet Operator, you will perform predictive maintenance and reactive repairs, including installation work on all mechanical, electrical, plumbing equipment and systems within the plant and building. In your role, you will partner with front-of-house staff to create WOW memories the guests will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Perform routine to complex maintenance and repair work on all mechanical and electrical equipment and systems throughout the property.
• Maintain a constant awareness of property cleanliness, safety, and accident prevention.
• Operate power and hand tools to complete job assignments.
• Read and understand blueprints and wiring schematics to install all work on electrical components.
• Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods and advise Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions within the property.
• Maintain a constant awareness of property cleanliness, safety, and accident prevention; able to wear/use personal protective equipment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Stationary Engineers Grade 3 License.
• Two (2) years of experience in the hospitality industry or a similar environment.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. (Day Shift: 7am-3:45am)
• Can handle multiple tasks at one time.
