Plant Manager

Position Overview:
As the Plant manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our manufacturing, fulfillment and supply chain processes for the US market. You will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, quality control, and scalability to support our company's growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of early-stage consumer product businesses that service both e-commerce customers, independent retailers and big box retailers. You must have a successful background in managing end-to-end operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing Excellence:
• Lead the manufacturing team to ensure production efficiency, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness.
• Work with the Production Manager to implement best practices in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Fulfillment Operations:
• Work in EDI platforms to ensure accurate dispatch for big box retailer orders.
• Oversee the fulfillment team, ensuring that they are optimizing warehouse operations and order processing to meet customer demands.
• Work with the fulfilment team to define work with logistics partners so that to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Liaise with sales and marketing team to understand key operational requirements to support growth goals and sales forecasts.
• Supply Chain Management:
• Work with the supply chain team to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain, with a "never out of stock" approach
• Implement inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with all teams; product development, marketing, and sales to align on long term business initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new products and improve existing ones.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Stay informed about industry trends and implement best practices accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in a leadership role overseeing manufacturing and fulfilment processes in fast growing, scaling businesses
• Experience working in early-stage consumer product businesses
• Strong background in manufacturing and fulfillment, with a track record of implementing process improvements.
• Demonstrated success in scaling operations to meet the demands of a growing business.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Strong technical skills; excel, EDI platforms, ERP systems

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
