We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in [paper and plastic cup forming], proven leadership skills, and must be bilingual in Spanish. The Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize the production processes, specifically in paper and plastic cup forming, to meet production targets and quality standards
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality paper and plastic cups.
• Oversee a team of 200+ employees, providing leadership and support.
• Manage three different shifts to ensure 24/7 production coverage.
• Effectively schedule and allocate resources across shifts.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and address personnel issues as needed.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team of production staff.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Oversee inventory levels to meet production demands and minimize waste.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, Business Management, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing of paper and plastic food packaging.
• Proven experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of paper and plastic cup forming processes and technologies.
• Lean manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in Excel and other relevant software.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and solve problems effectively.
