Job Title: Plant Manager

Mission

The Plant Manager is responsible for all operations for a Metal fabrication and assembly facility. A continuous improvement approach is necessary and accomplished with a hands-on style when establishing and improving production processes on the plant floor. This position requires daily interaction with floor personnel and supervisors, and is responsible for all KPI’s in Productivity, Quality, Safety, and Cost. The successful candidate will be able to multitask, have excellent communication skills, and demonstrate the required sense of urgency for the position.

Essential Job Functions

• Daily attention to production scheduling, attainment and on time delivery.
• Responsible for fabrication and assembly goals and monitoring the team’s KPI’s and financial performance and contribution.
• Formulate short and long-term strategy relative to safety, on-time delivery to the customer, cost reduction, quality improvement, equipment utilization, capacity planning, and financial goals.
• Motivate and retain critical personnel to meet and exceed company goals and customer expectations.
• Establish production plans that maximize labor and talent.

• Ability to develop a successful manufacturing team.
• Ability to utilize computer software for communicating, presenting, and analyzing the operation.

Work experience/ Education:

• Bachelor degree preferred but the right candidate with substantial years of experience will be considered.
• Manufacturing experience a plus.
• Metal fabrication and welding experience a plus.
• 3 years Manufacturing Supervisory experience required. This position manages 40+ employees.
• Experience in a job shop environment with high mix, low to high volume production experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
