Plant Manager

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to join our team at our Yemassee, South Carolina, facility.

Position Overview:

As the Plant Manager at Ironline Metals in Yemassee, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of plant operations. You will play a key role in driving production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, ensuring safety protocols, and fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in metal manufacturing, a proven track record of effective leadership, and a commitment to achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership:

· Provide strategic direction and leadership to achieve production targets while maintaining high quality standards.

· Implement and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

2. Safety and Compliance:

· Enforce and uphold strict safety standards, ensuring a secure working environment for all employees.

· Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and company policies.

3. Team Management:

· Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing production team.

· Foster a positive and collaborative work culture, promoting employee engagement and professional development.

4. Quality Assurance:

· Implement and maintain quality control measures to guarantee the production of superior metal products.

· Continuously assess and improve quality processes and standards.

5. Inventory Management:

· Oversee inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet production demands while minimizing excess.

6. Cost Management:

· Develop and execute strategies to optimize production costs and enhance overall plant profitability.

7. Continuous Improvement:

· Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and technological advancements.

· Implement initiatives to enhance overall plant efficiency and competitiveness.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

· Proven experience in plant management within the metal manufacturing industry.

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
