Who are we looking for:
We are seeking a Planning and Performance Management Specialist responsible for generating analytical findings and recommendations across the scope of objectives
and deliverables of the organization, either independently or in collaboration with others, coordinating planning activities, performing variance analysis, and proactively identifying and providing solutions for problems and issues that arise in his/her assigned areas.
In addition, he/she will develop and maintain close partnerships with business/operational counterparts of the admin area organization in his/her assigned areas and represent his/her organization in cross-functional, cross-organizational teams involved in Admin Area-related tasks. Furthermore, will participate in planning initiatives of his/her organization; may be assigned to lead and supervise work streams; and be significantly involved in mentoring others on Admin Area practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and lead finance and Performance Management analytical activities under the broad guidance of higher-level P&PMD staff and supervisors of the hiring organization, particularly in resolving complex, cross-functional, non-routine, and/or design issues.
- Generate analytical findings and recommendations across the scope of objectives and deliverables of the organization, either independently or in collaboration with others.
- Proactively identify and provide solutions for problems and issues that arise in his/her assigned areas.
- Develop and maintain close partnerships with business/operational counterparts of the P&PMD organization in his/her assigned areas, and represent his/her organization in cross-functional, cross-organizational teams involved in P&PMD-related tasks.
- Participate in planning initiatives of his/her organization, may be assigned to lead and supervise work streams, and be significantly involved in mentoring others on P&PMD practice.
- Business reporting, planning, and forecasting.
- Create and maintain a financial model for the actual results reporting in combination with the short- to mid-term planning process of the business.
- Analyze the monthly results of the product lines, the fixed costs, and balance sheet items.
- Management of the monthly adjustments and accruals in cooperation with the central accounting teams.
- Prepare the management reporting for commercial and business management.
- Managing the planning process in coordination with the business representatives and the commercial analysts.
- Consolidation of the product line results into the Business P&L.
- Identifying improvement potentials in the business.
- Financial advice and support for business projects.
- Process mapping of the newly implemented structures.
- Business integration support for subsidiaries, joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions.
Minimum Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related
discipline. Possession of an advanced business degree (e.g., MBA)
and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFA, and CPA) is
preferred.
-At least 12 years of related experience. You will demonstrate a strong
track record in chemicals and/or refining business functions (either
PPMD or other). A demonstrated capability and track record in the
the practice of Planning and Performance Management, and the use of
business intelligence tools:
* Performance analysis, assessment, and reporting.
* Financial (IFRS) reporting.
* Business planning/budgeting.
* Business case preparation.
* Project management.
* Financial modelling.
- Experience working in chemicals/refining PPMD functions. Knowledge of more Downstream businesses would be advantageous.
- Ability to manage, and analyze large volumes of data.
- Possess solid knowledge and understanding of management accounting, finance, and Excel.
- Articulating complex analysis into simple concepts – strong writing and presentation-making/giving ability.
- You must have an excellent command of oral and written English.

If your resume evaluation is not suitable, you will be receiving an e-mail notification in 2-3 days.
2. Interviews Stage:
2.1 LHR Americas preliminary phone/video interview: A member of the Talent Acquisition team from LHR Americas will first schedule a call with you to discuss the details of the position, your interests, and qualifications. Furthermore, your English level will be evaluated at this stage, ONLY native or advanced speakers will approve this evaluation.
If this preliminary phone/video interview is successful, your resume will be submitted to our client.
If your preliminary phone/video interview is not successful, our Talent Acquisition consultant will inform you.
2.2 Client Face to Face interview: This interview will happen only if our client approves your resume, we cannot guarantee the time our client will take to approve your resume, but it should take less than a week.
If your resume is approved a member of the Talent Acquisition Team will get back to you and schedule a face-to-face meeting in a defined location. You will be told to go to the location.
The client interview contains technical questions that help assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field and may include a behavioral evaluation. Be prepared to explain how you approach problems and produce solutions.
If your face-to-face interview is successful, the hiring team will further evaluate your resume, decide, and then receive a conditional job offer.
3. Conditional Offer:
A successful interview may result in a conditional offer of employment.
Conditions for employment include but are not limited to medical examinations, and permission to secure a visa to work and reside in-country.
