Job Summary:
The Plumbing & Piping Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for managing materials receiving, processes, deliveries, storage and all aspects for the Plumbing Warehouse operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and check in materials, tools and supplies
- Process check-in paperwork per the Peterson materials standard
- Maintain tracking of back-orders and incomplete orders
- Organize raw material by fab build or project
- Assist the shop Foreman with material availability for fabrication
- Assist the Purchasing Agent with material errors and/or verification
- Maintain shipping records of materials sent the field
- Maintain and order stock supplies and consumables
- Receive tools, supplies and equipment requests from field
- Assist in scheduling shop deliveries or pick-ups
- Maintain, store and handle shop tools, carts, racks, dolly and raw materials
- Maintain and organize items stored for future delivery
- Correct small vendor errors
- Assist the shop Foreman or Purchasing agent with specialized tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Non-Essential Job Duties:
- Make deliveries as a backup to shop driver
- Assist with maintaining storage in the Peterson main yard area
Essential Qualifications:
- HS Diploma
- 2-3 years experience in warehouse work
- Ability to interpret computerized data
- Computer literacy in office communication programs, Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of plumbing pipe fittings and parts
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge in plumbing and piping materials, tools and processes
- Experience and certification with warehouse forklift
- Warehouse management
ADA Specifications:
Standing and walking prolonged periods. Manual dexterity required for computer work. Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Warehouse and office work environment. Moderate noise level. Reasonable accommodations will be made available.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
