Warehouse Receiver & Inventory Coordinator

Summary

Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders, and inventory replenishment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using pallet jacks, power jacks, forklifts or other equipment.

• Match PO worksheet and BOL counts against physical product. Notate discrepancies

• Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory

• Analyze data to anticipate future needs

• Liaise with warehouse staff and other internal teams to test products’ quality

• Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse.

• Stock products on shelves.

• Check in merchandise and affix labels.

• Move materials off racks and package for shipment.

• Palletizing orders for LTL shipments

• Follow all safety codes.

• Perform facility & equipment maintenance.

• Carry out tasks as assigned by the warehouse supervisor / manager.

• Demonstrates excellent job performance in productivity, quality, safety, and attendance.

• Familiar with domestic and international freight guidelines.

• Excellent communication skills- able to coach/ train and assist team members.

Knowledge, Skill and Ability

• Proven work experience as a Receiver, Stock Controller, Inventory Specialist, or similar role.

• Good understanding of supply chain procedures

• Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP)

• Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports

• Experience using RF scanners.

• Familiarity with LTL carrier and 3rd party broker processes.

• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse distribution

• Has good communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work with and get along with people of diverse backgrounds and expectations

• Must be able to work autonomously and with a minimum supervision

• Must be able to lift maximum 50 pounds

• Must be able to repetitively pickup, move, and stack packages up to 30 pounds

• Must be physically mobile and be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day

• Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to details

• Certified Forklift Driver (stand up and sit down)

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
