Seeking a dedicated and passionate Family Medicine Provider to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong background in Family Medicine, internal medicine, and primary care. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art outpatient clinic, using their skills and experience to diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of illnesses and diseases.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive and continuous primary care to patients, including health promotion, disease prevention, health maintenance, counseling, patient education, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
2. Conduct thorough examinations of patients, formulate differential diagnoses, and implement treatment plans.
3. Coordinate and manage patient care with other healthcare professionals and members of the healthcare team.
4. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and explain the results to patients.
5. Provide timely and meaningful health education and counseling to patients and their families about conditions, treatments, and lifestyle choices to promote overall wellness.
6. Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date patient records.
7. Participate in ongoing professional development activities and maintain current knowledge of the latest advancements in Family Medicine and primary care.
8. Adhere to all relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.
Qualifications:
1. Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution.
2. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Medicine Provider, Internal Medicine Physician, or Primary Care MD.
4. Experience working in an outpatient clinic setting is preferred.
5. Excellent diagnostic skills with the ability to interpret complex medical data.
6. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms and conditions in a way that patients can understand.
7. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
8. Commitment to providing high-quality care that aligns with the latest medical guidelines and best practices.
9. Current, valid state medical license and DEA license.
10. Current BLS and ACLS certification.
11. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
12. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
