Yuko Family Medicine is a solo-physician private family medicine practice delivering a holistic blend of Eastern and Western medicine to thousands of pediatric and adult patients in Greater Boston. Summary
- Working under the supervision of a physician, the applicant is a certified medical assistant or certified Nursing Assistant with experience. Experience within a primary care setting is preferred.
- Working within a collaborative environment, maintains a patient-centered approach to care.
- Obtains detailed and accurate medical history.
- Is familiar with children and adult vaccination schedule.
- Supports the physician with communication / education of patients.
- Processes orders and labs as necessary.
Education and Certification
- Possesses/eligible for certification as a medical assistant or has 2+ years of hands-on experience as a medical assistant if not certified.
- Graduate of a 4 year bachelor’s degree program.
Experience
- At least two years of experience with strong preference for experience as a medical assistant within a primary care setting.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills as a member of our collaborative team.
- Flexibility to balance multiple tasks effectively within a fast-paced, clinical environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, showing commitment to elevating our patients’ experience of care and safety we provide.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- Possesses the maturity, self-confidence, and ability to follow complex care plans.
