Our telehealth RN role requires a Massachusetts RN license and experience with all age ranges. This role would also require you to be onsite for the first 2 weeks for training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• This is a remote, telehealth nurse position requiring strong clinical nurse experience and the ability to work independently.
• Assists with provision of care that includes treatment, teaching and counseling.
• Recognizes and interprets symptoms of patient's conditions and reports to appropriate health care provider.
• Provides services to patients and their families. These services include, but are not exclusive to:
a) nursing assessment
b) nursing intervention/referral
c) health care education
d) Assesses patients' needs based upon evaluation of current functioning and strengths, review of previous health/medical plan of care, and medications. This includes support system being utilized, vocational status, and identification of any special needs (i.e., physical, emotional, or substance abuse/psychiatric history)
• Assists with the planning and implementation of educational programs for patients and families to increase awareness of relevant medical conditions, decrease risk-behaviors, and increase responsibility for self-care.
• Attends and participates in in-service education programs for staff, quality assurance programs, and risk-management programs
• Recognizes the needs and concerns of people within their cultural framework, and maintains constructive relationships in dealing with them
• Understands the Center's relationship with the community and maintains positive image and relationships.
• Identifies patient problems, physiological and psychological changes, deviations from the normal, and identifies inter-relationships of problems, reports changes to health care providers.
• Maintains open communication with the Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Manager, and other staff.
• Coordinates care of patient, referring to appropriate community resources
• Works independently in the absence of supervision
• Self-motivated and flexible to daily patient schedule/and or center needs
Basic or Preferred Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Registered Nurse License in the state of MA
• Minimum of three years nursing experience
• Experience with all age groups required
• Current CPR
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Works daily with staff and public for the purpose of giving and receiving information with other Center staff
• Follows established policies and procedures
• Maintains strict confidentiality
• Plans own work that is accomplished in the time allocated
• Willing to ask for assistance when necessary
• Functions as a patient advocate and communicates warmth and understanding to the patient and their families
• Accepts and institutes change (s)
