Maine Medical Partners, a MaineHealth member, is recruiting for an experienced Advanced Practice Professional with women’s health experience - Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide advanced level health care to patients in our OB/GYN Clinic. This is a dynamic practice working with a diverse population of patients, and supporting residents completing their clinical rotations. Ideal candidates have prior OB/GYN experience and a passion for community health.
New Graduates with relevant Women’s Health Nursing experience will be considered and are welcome to apply.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: BSN/MSN and successful completion of nurse midwifery program accredited by the ACNM or successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- License/Certifications: Current license and registration to practice as a Registered Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Midwife as required in the State of Maine. Current BLS certification.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional APP/nursing experience preferred.
- Experience: Advanced skill and knowledge in conducting physical examinations and treating patients in expanded practice model with minimal direction at a level generally acquired through two to three years in-depth experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife.
- Analytical abilities necessary to obtain medical histories, conduct physical examinations, prepare complex treatment plans, and treat assigned patients with minimal guidance and direction.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to collaborate with a variety of personnel (e.g., patients, employees, physicians, and other health care professionals.)
