```Job Summary```

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide hands-on therapy to patients. Your role will be crucial in helping patients regain mobility, manage pain, and improve their overall quality of life.

```Duties```

- Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients

- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to help patients improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion

- Administer modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy.

- Educate patients on proper techniques for performing exercises and activities at home

- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

- Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately and timely

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy

- Familiarity with medical terminology

- Excellent patient care skills and ability to establish rapport with patients

- Understanding of occupational health principles

- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred

- Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques is a plus

- Ability to work effectively in acute care settings
