Job Title: Phlebotomy Supervisor (Temporary to Permanent)

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all activities and supervising Phlebotomy staff members. You will collaborate with the Phlebotomy Supervisor to ensure the department is adequately staffed and properly scheduled at all times. Additionally, you will assist with payroll and corrective action of employees while maintaining established department policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

Experience:

• 5 years of management experience as a Phlebotomy Supervisor.
• 3 years of specialized training as a Histotech and fully proficient in all areas of Pathology.

Education:

• BS in Science and/or MBA (preferred).

Certification:

• HT (Histotech).

Licensure:

• Active MA Phlebotomist License.

Skills:

• Proficient in phlebotomy techniques and procedures.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Knowledgeable in medical terminology and laboratory protocols.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
