As a Per Diem, nonexempt, CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; and compounding intravenous medications. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule: This position can work up to 19 hours per week, providing coverage "as needed". This position at a minimum will work 4 hours per month.
About the Facility:BridgePoint Hospital Capitol Hill Campus is a Long Term Acute Care hospital with an ICU that provides 60 beds in private rooms for extended-stay critical care patients. Patient care and recovery are overseen by an incredible staff of well-trained healthcare professionals and support personnel. The hospital has 24-hour In-House Physician, Nursing and Respiratory Therapy coverage. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy.
About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 am-6:00 pm, Saturday/Sunday from 8:00 am-4:30 pm and holidays 8:00 am-4:30 pm
Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• DC Pharmacy Technician License active and in good standing
• Minimum 1-year recent Pharmacy Technician experience, hospital experience preferred
• IV compounding experience preferred
• Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Hospital Requirements:

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Health Clearance/Physical within the last 6 months
• (Flu) Influenza required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
