MHealth Fairview is looking for their next Pharmacy Merchandiser/Buyer to join or team in Burnsville!
In this position you will call on and provide account management to assigned Fairview Pharmacy sites by providing assistance in the merchandising of the front of the stores. The Pharmacy Merchandiser is responsible to provide the best service in the handling of customer's needs and concerns as well as coordinate over-the-counter merchandising, pricing and buying for FPS retail pharmacy locations. You will develop and implement appropriate Plan-O-Grams for Front of Store departments, act as a liaison with the vendors and would be responsible for product assortment, price shopping and merchandising. Collaborate with OTC leads and site staff to implement FPS merchandising strategies.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position!
Responsibilities
- Support process of selecting new vendors and products
- Recommend product assortment to meet customer needs.
- Develop, implement and update Plan-O-Gram for merchandising the product.
- Provide pricing recommendations and price shopping comparisons.
- Maintain proper profit margins
- Maintain accurate pricing files
- Interact with suppliers on purchases
- Provide promotional planning of end caps
- Assure proper product mix using POS information
- Coordinate invoices and problem solve issues as they occur
- Find solutions to supply issues to ensure products are available to customers.
- Act as a liaison to vendors; maintain vendor list
- Ensure superior customer service is provided to consulting clients and all other internal and external customers.
- Collaborate with OTC leads and site staff to implement FPS merchandising strategies.
- Implement standardized ordering processes and products
- Utilize electronic communication to create consistency in sites merchandising and increase efficiency of field vs office time (70/30)
- Execute POS reporting and sales analysis
- Implement new items, discounted items and direct orders
- Provide coaching and mentoring to OTC leads to develop merchandising expertise; audit OTC areas as necessary with site visits
- Assist sites in new product and special requests
- Provide support to ensure proper store front during remodeling and/or new site ordering and product layout

Qualifications
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's Degree: Marketing, business or related field
Minimum Experience
- Three to five years experience previous merchandising, pricing or buying experience
Preferred Experience
- Multi-site experience with OTC/GM items in drug store or grocery store environment
