Buyer ($75K-$85K)

Responsibilities:

• Procure components, with emphasis on sheet metal and domestically sourced raw materials.
• Review inventory levels, place POs, and maintain/update sourcing parameters for optimal planning.
• Develop an efficient system to monitor open POs and negotiate the best purchase prices.
• Maintain supplier relationships for timely part delivery, ensuring the right quantity and quality.
• Communicate APG requirements to suppliers, monitor performance, and maintain an approved supplier list.
• Develop a logistical network for standard and expedited freight shipments.
• Support cross-functional teams in projects and initiatives, participate in annual physical inventory.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience with international emphasis.
• Experience with Infor Visual Systems preferred.
• Possible travel to supplier locations.
• Strong negotiating skills and strategic thinking

• Pay range: $70,000 and $85,000 + 10% annual bonus.
• Schedule: standard business hours around 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday
• Location: 100% in office, Minneapolis
• Type: Direct hire w/ FULL benefits
