Billing Specialist II

Summary:

The Upfront Billing Specialist is responsible is to provide the highest quality of customer service and accounts receivable management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process mail order and specialty RX claims.
• Collect patient copays and process payments.
• Handle all correspondence related to insurance and patient accounts, contact insurance carriers, patients and other parties as needed to get maximum payment on accounts.
• Research and resolve accounts as directed by management, making appropriate decisions on accounts to be worked to maximize reimbursement.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of recent specialty or mail order billing experience.
• Must be fluent in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
• familiarity working in a fast paced, high volume pharmacy environment.

Lead/leadership experience is a huge plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
