We're looking for a customer service-oriented individual with experience in the pharmaceutical industry to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable interacting with patients of all ages and possess strong interpersonal skills as well as a friendly, energetic demeanor. The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for helping customers fill prescriptions, processing insurance claims and assisting with inventory control.
Responsibilities:
- Store medications safely.
- Prepare medications correctly.
- Adhere to state, federal, and institutional guidelines for dispensing medications.
- Make sure the pharmacy department is meeting all standards.
- Communicate with patients and other staff.
- Maintain professional and moral obligations regarding patient confidentiality and other issues.
Job Types: Part-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
