Looking for an experienced & flexible pharmacist who can speak both Vietnamese & English fluently and have experience working in retail pharmacy setting

Job Description: Pharmacists are responsible for controlling, dispersing, and distributing medicine. They follow legal and ethical guidelines to ensure the correct and safe supply of medical products to the general public. They are involved in maintaining and improving people’s health by providing advice and information as well as supplying prescription medicine. Pharmacists also sell over-the-counter medical products and instruct patients on the use of medicine and medical appliances.
Job Purpose: To serve patients by preparing medications; to monitor patient drug therapies; to give pharmacological information to a multidisciplinary team
Job Duties:
· Prepare medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders; detect therapeutic incompatibilities
· Dispense medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals
· Control medications by monitoring drug therapies; advise interventions
· Sell over-the-counter medicine
· Provide pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counsel patients on drug therapies
· Inform patients of possible side effects to certain drugs
· Complete pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians’ work flow; verify their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verify order entries, charges, & inspections
· Train pharmacy staff, students, interns, externs, residents, and health care professionals
· Comply with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the drug enforcement administration, and the food and drug administration by maintaining records for controlled substances, removing outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory, supervising the work results of support personnel, maintaining current registration, studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, and advising management on needed actions
· Protect patients and staff by adhering to infection-control protocols
· Maintain clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
· Maintain pharmacological knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
· Work with insurance companies to ensure coverage and payment
· Manage the budget and other finance-related operations
Skills/Qualifications: Analyzing information, administering medication, judgment, verbal communication, FDA health regulations, pharmacology, managing processes, legal compliance, productivity, quality focus, attention to detail, selective attention, problem sensitivity, speech clarity, oral comprehension, etc.
Requirements: CA Pharmacist license, must speak Vietnamese and English fluently
