Job Description:
You will play a Vitalrole in supporting students with behavioral needs in the Kansas City area. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students while enjoying the flexibility of a temporary assignment.
About the Role:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students.
- Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and parents to implement evidence-based strategies and interventions.
- Provide training and support to school personnel on behavior management techniques.
- Monitor and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of behavior plans and make adjustments as needed.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Kansas state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Previous experience working as a BCBA in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
