Form of workThe City of Northglenn is seeking a highly qualified, energetic, and motivated Personal Trainer to join our growing team. Personal Trainers are responsible for individualized programming and instruction for one-on-one and small group training sessions. Personal Trainers ensure proper exercise techniques, safety, and usage of the weight room.
Must be available to work weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays.Ability to provide individualized program design to meet client's goals, needs, and exercise history. Must be able to demonstrate proper safety and instruction of exercise technique and movement patters. Personal Trainer must have basic knowledge of exercise physiology, biomechanics, behavior change and nutrition.
Ability to uniquely motivate and build rapport with class participants to provide a safe and welcoming environment.

Previous experience as a Personal Trainer for at least 1 year is required.
Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification required: ACE, NASM, ISSA, NCSF and/or
Nationally Recognized Specialty Certification deemed appropriate for the class format.
In addition, must maintain current CPR/1st Aid and AED certifications.
Must be able to perform a variety of physical activities including bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Selected candidate will be required to complete and pass a background investigation, physical and drug test prior to employment.
Certified Instructor Hiring Range $18.75 - $20.63
